ACLS Provider Course

Service Description

This course is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units. The instructor in this course will highlight the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in large, group sessions and small, group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented. All attendees must have the 2020 ACLS books during the class. If not bought before the fee for the book will be 50$

Cancellation Policy

Policies CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY: • Once registration has been processed, the transaction is complete and no refund will be issued. • If you would like to reschedule your course you have the right to do so. See “Rescheduling Policy” below for details. • Firstaid Academy reserves the right to cancel any classes without possibility of refunds if the cancellation is due to a natural disaster, extreme weather conditions, MTA suspension, building shut downs, or other causes that are not caused by Firstaid Academy rendering us unable to conduct the class. If such situations do occur, you will be allowed to reschedule without penalty. • Firstaid Academy reserves the right to cancel any classes if classes fall below a minimum of 3 students. If such situations do occur, you will be notified at least 1 day in advance and will be given a choice to reschedule without penalty. • Any issues related to credit/debit card transactions after payment has been processed will incur a $25 re-processing fee. RESCHEDULING POLICY: • To reschedule: In order to reschedule, you must contact 9299303006 or training@firstaidacademy.com We will not honor any rescheduling request if we do not have proof that you have attempted to contact us. We are closed for Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Rescheduling requests made on those 5 holidays will not be counted until the next business day. The rescheduled class must take place within 30 days of the original class date. • 3 days in advance or more notice: If you contact us within 3 days or more before the day of your class (excluding holidays listed above), then no fee will incur. • 1-2 days before the day of the course: If you contact us within 1 to 2 days before the day of your class (excluding holidays listed above), a $25 fee will apply for BLS and Heartsavers Courses and a $50 will apply for all other courses. • On the day rescheduling: You are not allowed to reschedule on the day of the class. If you request to reschedule on the day of the class, you will be considered as a NO SHOW student. Please see the NO SHOW policy below. • Rescheduled more than once: We do not allow rescheduling more than once. We will not issue refund, grant credit, nor reschedule you to another class if you are not able to make it to the rescheduled class unless there are extreme weather conditions rendering you unable to come to class.
